Dominic Odbert aka Mr. Simo, has been making some sort of portable music machine since 2000. He takes his inspiration from store displays, artists from Philadelphia, Chicago and the original “BoomCase” the GE “Wildcat” turntable.

He's incredibly passionate about each design. "I am an audio-nut. So you can be assured I make each case produce the best sound possible. I shy away from plastic or thin suitcases because of their not so great acoustic qualities. Mainly I use cases that are built with wood and leather because of the superior sound they produce." says Mr. Simo.

Every BoomCase is constructed in California by hand, and represents hours of work to find the right case and audio components.
